Are you a commercial powerhouse with experience in sales and business development and are you experienced in the world of live entertainment or events? Do you have an eye for opportunities and is connecting with people second nature to you? Does your enthusiasm and customer-oriented mindset result in creating and maintaining long-term customer relationships?
Plugged Live Shows creates one-of-a-kind live shows, worldwide. We are an experiential studio that engages audiences and touches individuals by creating signature shows with a creative vision and a deep communicative core.
As Plugged Live Shows’ Business Developer you know the world of live events like the back of your hand. You keep an eye on trends and developments. Not only within the industry, you also respond to actualities and developments within the world.
In this role you…
You use your knowledge and your network to strategically create and respond to opportunities that lie ahead. As enterprise sales requires, you share your insights and partner with the marketing team to strengthen one another to reach our common objectives.. You set out your sales strategy and activities, build out your pipeline, initiate networking, all based on the business strategy for our different segments and target groups. Hunting is like playing chess for you. And our (international) ambitions are your rocketfuel. Besides researching new markets and recruiting new leads, you build and nurture long term relationships with clients. We’re not here for the quick win; we are here for the long run.
By gaining the trust of our clients, we are given a chance to present a story that inspires (potential) clients to dive into our world of Meaningful Memories, enabling us to touch, engage and inspire their audience as a result of co-creation.
This requires a soft spot for the arts, a certain accessibility, an insight in the world of internal or external (live) communication, a humble attitude, and a client-oriented mindset. All with our company objectives in mind.

- You bring experience and passion for the world of live entertainment and events and embody the importance of storytelling;
- You excel in a fast-paced and demanding environment, both nationally and internationally;
- You love hunting and build and nurture your pipeline;
- You confidently negotiate and persuade clients;
- You bring commercial thinking, analytical skills, and strong interpersonal abilities;
- You have a track record of success in a commercial and dynamic work environment;
- You initiate ideas, work proactively, and excel both independently and as part of a team;
- You communicate and present effectively, both orally and in writing, in Dutch and English;
- Your enthusiasm and authenticity earn you trust and likeability with others.
